I did a Game Jam!
I recently did a 72-hour game jam where I had to make a working game in 72 hours!
I used Godot for the game jam because I wanted to see if it's a viable option for this or future games since it's such a light engine. There were things I liked about it and things I thought were clunky. I'm not sold on using it for a bigger game yet.
I'm considering doing smaller games with Godot. Maybe I'll so some mini-mysteries for Alex Hill ;)
I do think I will be able to make a much more optimized game in Unreal Engine this time around. I've thought of a setup that's simpler than what I did the first time. I kind of want to go back and resetup Whispers at White Oak Inn with the new idea, but I'll probably wait to do that until later down the road. Or if I end up using Godot at some point I would make a version of WWOI that would work better on older computers since Godot is more backwards compatabile.
